    We are expanding the collection of cheats for World of Tanks. This time, there is a cheat specifically for artillery, which radically simplifies shooting at tracers. This is the Redball mod or “Red Balls”.

    Recently, World of Tanks has introduced special awards for artillery. Among others, the honorary badge “For counter-battery shooting.” The award is given to owners of artillery tanks who, in a random battle, managed to destroy all enemy artillery in the amount of at least three vehicles.

    With Redball, among other benefits, you can easily receive a reward for counter-battery shooting.

    Description of the cheat “Red Balls”

    The cheat works as follows. After installing the mod on the game client, a special script determines the location of the start of a normal or artillery shot. The ball is placed in front of the beginning of the tracer and is positioned based on the fact that the beginning of the tracer is the end of the enemy artillery gun barrel. After the cheat is triggered, you only need to shoot, hit and wait for the message “the enemy has been destroyed.” Pay attention to the screenshot below and the red dot that the player is aiming at - the mod works something like this. An artillery player from the enemy team fired a shot - the tracer from his shell had already disappeared, but the Redball mod accurately marked the location of the shot.

    We present to you the best art sight that currently exists in our game World of Tanks. This is a unique mod for artillery called Battle Assistant for WOT 1.6.0.7, which has a half-sniper half-artillery aiming mode. By turning on this mod, you can throw shells and at the same time look from the side at the enemy tank and see the real trajectory of the shell. That is, with its help the player can see for sure whether he can hit the enemy tank or not. With it, it is easier to target the enemy behind houses, behind hills, and in general it becomes easier to understand the trajectory of a flying projectile. The sight is simply ideal for precision art, where the spread is not very large (for example, for Object 261 or any French art). It helps you avoid hitting screens, harps, and just about anywhere, namely, aiming at those places where you want to stick the projectile to the enemy. Experienced art experts highly praise and recommend this mod; they say that they used to bend it before, but with it they began to bend it even better. This mod is not prohibited; the administration of the World of Tanks game knows about it. Moreover, this mod took first place in the category “Best Game Modification” in a competition held by the developers of the Wargaming company called “WGDC”.     How to enable the commander's camera?

    • Modifications that report when enemy vehicles are reloading or display their reload timers.
    • "Smart" sights that offer more capabilities than the standard target acquisition functionality implemented in the client. Especially those sights that automatically aim at weak points of vehicles and/or enemy vehicles in general, and also “take” the target behind the obstacle and calculate the lead for the player.
    • Mods that allow you to automatically use standard (not premium) equipment.
    • Modifications that change the transparency of objects on the map.
    • Modifications that display “ghostly silhouettes” of enemy vehicles at the position where the vehicle was last “shine.”
    • Any possible modifications that change the parameters of equipment or game objects, affecting the gameplay and violating the Rules of the Game, which may appear in the future.

    We believe this functionality provides players with a significant advantage. Considering that such modifications were not previously considered prohibited, we are not adding them to the list yet. At the same time, work continues on our own version of the tool, which will allow us to obtain the necessary information in battle.

    After the creation of this tool, similar modifications with additional functions (for example, those that display vulnerabilities in combat) will be included in the prohibited list.

    Please note: this only applies to those modifications that work in combat. We are absolutely not against mods that work only in the Hangar (not during battle). Moreover: they help new players gain the necessary knowledge and learn how to effectively fight with various machines. Therefore, the list of cheating mods will only include those modifications that provide additional information in battle.

    Redballs is a cheat that every artillery lover who is not afraid to use unfair gaming methods should install. The mod allows you to destroy the entire ART-SPG of the enemy team in the shortest possible time.

    What is the use of Red Balls for 1.5.1.1?

    The principle of operation is simple - enemy artillery fires and immediately a mark appears on the minimap and on the terrain itself, showing where the equipment is located. And all this regardless of whether the self-propelled gun was exposed or not. Unlike older versions of the cheat, now the indication will even be on the minimap, however, in some cases the name of the art is displayed incorrectly. In addition to the minimap, information will also be visible in the chat.

    Since artillery can cause a huge amount of damage, especially against weakly moving targets, it is recommended to destroy it as quickly as possible. This cheat will help with this. Previously, an ART SAU could be destroyed only after it was illuminated or a tracer appeared, but now you can shoot at other tanks without wasting time on tracking. We help our allies on the flanks, and when a mark appears, we quickly deprive the enemy of artillery support.

    There is only one small nuance - if the opponent is smart, he will move after the shot. However, not every player does this.

    A similar, but slightly different mod, for 1.5.1.1, is also recommended for installation; it will show markers on those points of the map where the opponent destroyed one of the interactive objects.

The Battle Assistant mod - self-propelled gun for a healthy person is exactly that. Most recently, it won a modification competition run by WG itself. Its author won quite a bit of money, but it's worth it. After all, the mod has many useful and interesting features that will help you in everyday battles. It is divided into modules for each type of equipment. The most famous module of the mod is the improved sight for artillery, which will really give you an advantage when playing artillery.

    Self-propelled gun sight of a healthy person:

    This module was the first improvement that the mod introduced into the game and it was this module that interested the members of the competition jury. The main reason for this attention was that the mod changed the appearance of a standard artillery sight and made it more like a sniper sight, thus allowing the artilleryman to more correctly assess the trajectory of a projectile and even aim at the lower armor plate of the tank or aim it behind a stone, while inflicting maximum damage .

    The main advantages received by users of this mod:

    • a completely clear trajectory along which the projectile will fly
    • making it easier to play as artillery on city maps due to the presence of an improved artillery sight, which helps you aim at a tank even between houses
    • fixing the aiming point even if the enemy you were aiming at disappeared from the light

    Module "Fire Spotter".

    Using this module, you can automatically fix your sight when the enemy disappears on a hill against the sky and, when firing, shoot exactly at the point where the enemy was last detected. Without the mod, the sight would have shifted to the sky behind it and the projectile would have flown higher than the tank.     The Battle Assistant mod doesn't work, what should I do?

    If you are sure that you installed everything correctly, but the mod still does not want to work, check the name of the folder in which your game is located and if it is in Russian, rename it to English and everything will work. Proven solutions.

    The sight gets stuck, the mod doesn’t work, what should I do?

    In update 0.9.19, many tankers encountered the problem of the sight getting stuck, all this is due to the outdated game cache. To solve this problem, we added a cache clearing program to the installer, it will do everything automatically. If you install the mod using an archive, you will have to run the ClearCache.bat file.

    Installation:
    Copy the mods folder to the game folder (WOT/), confirming the replacement.

    When you launch it for the first time, a mod_battle_assistant.txt file with settings will appear in the mods/configs/battle_assistant folder.

    IMPORTANT! Now the mod must be activated every 10 days on this page, otherwise it will not work. After activation, restart the game.

    Activation is completely free and allows you to use the mod for the next 10 days. After this, the mod must be activated again.
