Calculator for your given armor wot 9.15. World of Tanks

    Description:

Many novice tankers and even already pros very often look for an armor calculator for World of Tanks 0.9.14. After all, everyone wants to penetrate any tanks, but it’s not always possible to remember their weak spots. Of course, penetration zones can help us with this, but not all tankers want to put extra images on their tanks, especially in bright colors; vulnerable zones are often designated that way.

The standard penetration marker, when pointed at an area where the tank's armor is thin, always lights up green, and green is the color of confident penetration. But at the same time, it does not take into account the screens and the given armor. That is, if the enemy becomes a diamond or his vulnerable zone is at some angle, all this affects the angle of entry of the projectile into the tank, and even if the marker is green, your projectile may not penetrate the armor or ricochet off it. Thus, all these disadvantages make the standard penetration marker practically useless.

Therefore, the usefulness of the tank armor calculator is difficult to overestimate. After all, having installed it, you will no longer need to shoot at random and think about whether you will hit the target or not. Thanks to this mod, you will know in advance whether your projectile will be able to penetrate the enemy’s armor in the place where you are aiming. On the Internet there are a lot of options for various armor calculators, but only a few are really worth it and they are included either in a mod pack or in some kind of complex mod.

For example, the well-known hodgepodge of mods P-mod has the best armor penetration calculator, but in addition it also includes a lot of other mods that not everyone wants to install. Until now, there was no other alternative to this calculator, but starting today, thanks to the WoTsite.net modding team, you have such an opportunity!

We are proud to present to you the reduced tank armor calculator mod for WOT 0.9.13 (no Pmod), which has exactly the same functionality as its counterpart in P-mod, but unlike it, you can install our mod separately. Having installed it, your sight will begin to take into account not only the thickness of the armor in the aimed location, but also the angle of entry of the projectile into this location, while the calculation of the thickness of the armor will be as accurate as possible.

The first three screenshots show a sight that already has an armor calculator built into it, in this case the mod uses it and transfers the data there. If your sight does not display the thickness of the armor and penetration of your projectile, by installing our reduced armor calculator, a field will be automatically added to it to display this information (the next 3 screenshots). The mod has a very flexible settings file in which you can change literally everything, from its location to changing the text color, font and even the amount of information displayed.

More details about the mod, its advantages and differences from standard solutions are described in the video below:

    Installation:

Copy the scripts folder to WOT/res_mods/0.9.14/, confirming the replacement.

The mod settings file is located here: \World_of_Tanks\res_mods\0.9.14\scripts\client\gui\mods\mod_reducedArmor.json, I recommend opening it using NotePad++.

If your sight already displays an armor calculator and you do not need an additional field to display this information, you can disable it by changing this line as follows: "custom_flash": false. By default it is set to true.

Important: A new patch has been released and the installation folder for mods will change, now they need to be installed in the WOT/res_mods/1.6.0/ and WOT/mods/1.6.0/ folders. Most of the mods work, just move them to the 1.6.0 folder, if one of the mods still doesn’t work, wait for it to be adapted on our website.

What's so hard about punching your opponent? In some situations, this task can be insurmountable, especially for beginners who are just starting to explore the hundreds of vehicles presented in World of Tanks. The given armor calculator was created specifically for such players; after installing it, there will no longer be any problems with breaking through the enemy!

Description of the reduced armor calculator for 0.9.17

The mod works as follows. When the enemy tank is sighted, two numbers appear under the penetration marker. The first shows the penetration of your tank's shell, the number remains unchanged (it can change if you change shells in battle). But the second number is the thickness of the protection at the specified point. It is interesting that this value is calculated taking into account the inclination of the armor plate, that is, the reduced armor is taken into account.

As a result, if the number on the right is greater than the number on the left, then you can break through the opponent. If it's the other way around, the projectile may bounce off the defense. For ease of use, the author of the mod has built in a color indication. If the numbers are green, then penetration is higher than protection; if they are red, then vice versa. Simply put, if we see green values, then we can safely shoot.

The given armor calculator will allow you to accurately estimate your chances of breaking through enemy defense at a certain point.

    Features of the modification

The indicator works as follows: when you point the sight marker at a point in the opponent’s armor near the sight (bottom), an inscription like “22/39” appears. The first number shows the current armor penetration of the projectile. The second number is the enemy's reservation. The interesting thing is that the protection is calculated very accurately, the actual thickness of the sheet and the given one are taken into account, that is, even when aiming at an angle, the indicator will calculate everything correctly. Accordingly, if defense is lower than penetration, then the projectile is likely to penetrate armor.

To make aiming easier, the indicator is two-color. If the numbers are red, then it is not recommended to shoot, because the thickness of the armor is higher than penetration. If the numbers are green, then you can fire.

This mod will be useful for all classes of vehicles, except, probably, artillery. The indicator will especially appeal to owners of medium tanks, since their armor penetration is often not very high.

    Installation

    • Copy the configs folder to \World_of_Tanks\mods\. Copy the remaining folders and files to World of Tanks\mods\1.6.0.7.

This mod is a high-quality and useful armor calculator. Thanks to it, you will know in advance whether you will be able to penetrate the enemy tank to the place where you are aiming or not. Like a number of others, this one is very popular among gamers and has proven itself well.

The basic penetration marker turns green when pointed at a vulnerable area of a vehicle, however, it does not take into account screens and the position of the tank. This mod takes into account all the nuances and makes the gameplay much more comfortable. It will definitely improve your shooting efficiency.

    Armor calculator mod download

By downloading and installing this modification, you will no longer have to shoot at random. The armor penetration calculator has been available for several years in various modpacks and complex mods, but not so long ago it was released separately, which is quite convenient.

To install the armor calculator for World of Tanks, you need to download the archive, and then unpack the scripts and gui from it to the following address: /World_of_Tanks/res_mods/[update folder], agreeing to a complete replacement. Before installing, you can watch the video to get an idea of the modification.

Everyone wants to penetrate any enemy technique, but it takes a lot of time to remember all the vulnerable points. Of course, skins with penetration zones can help in this matter, but not all tankers want to put any images on their tanks; they can both help and distract.

A standard penetration marker, if pointed at a thin section of armor, always lights up green - this indicates a confident penetration. But he does not take into account the given armor at all, as well as the screens. Accordingly, if the enemy is positioned in a diamond shape or the vulnerable section of the armor is at a certain angle, the chances of penetration are significantly reduced, and the marker is still displayed in a green tint. Thus, such nuances make a regular marker ineffective.

That's why more and more players are using the armor calculator. After all, with its installation, you will know for sure whether your shell will penetrate the enemy in the place where you plan to shoot. Now there are a lot of different armor calculators on the network, but there are very few really high-quality ones and many of them are present in mod assemblies or in some kind of complex add-on.

Setting up the reduced tank armor calculator

The modification has enormous possibilities in terms of settings. You can change almost everything, from its location to color, font, as well as the amount of information displayed.

The settings file is located in res_mods\0.9.X\scripts\client\gui\mods\mod_reducedArmor.json.

If you have an armor calculator displayed in your sight and you do not need an additional field to display this information, you can remove it by making changes to the custom_flash": false line. By default it is set to true.

IMPORTANT! If for some reason the mod does not work for you, then you have the standard version of PMoD (there should be no problems with the extended version). Then enable the armor penetration calculator directly in Pmod itself in the file \scripts\client\gui\mods\mod_pmod.json.

// true - enable the module. (only sending data to the sight file)

// true - enable the module. (only sending data to a sight file)

    "enable": true,

// Use your own flash to output data.

// Use own flash for data output.
