    Conqueror of gaming meridians... Review of the Razer Sabertooth gamepad. What did you like about the Razer Raiju?

    Acquaintance with game consoles, as a rule, begins with a gamepad; an incomprehensible device at first glance quickly becomes an extension of our hands in the gaming world. Most modern video games are developed for multi-platform, and the exclusive status is often only temporary. Thus, the line between computer and console games is becoming thinner. Of course, manufacturers of gaming peripherals do not stand aside, offering their own controller options. Today I have the Razer Wildcat gamepad in my hands, which means there will be a review.

    Specifications
    ● Manufacturer code: RZ06-01390100-R3M1;
    ● Platform: PC, Xbox One;
    ● Communication type: wire;
    ● Wire length: 3 m;
    ● Feedback: four vibration motors;
    ● Weight (without wire): 260 g.

    Packaging and accessories

    A plastic blister and a sheet of colored cardboard inside is standard packaging for most gamepads, but Razer, of course, has its own approach. The gamepad comes in a box made of thick cardboard, with colored matte printing applied throughout the entire area of the packaging: illustrations of the main advantages of the gamepad, the features of its operation and captions - nothing unusual, the most interesting thing is inside...

    Inside the box is a hard case, covered with thick black nylon fabric, heavy and solid as Batman’s own lunch box. The case is really high quality: double stitched, metal zipper, and a separate compartment for the wire. The thing is, of course, nice, but expensive, but whether you will use this case or not is a big question.

    The kit contains everything you need for comfortable work. In addition to the gamepad itself and the cable, inside the case you will find two rubberized attachments for the sticks, side pads, a screwdriver (torx) for removing additional triggers, operating instructions in Russian and a couple of stickers with the manufacturer’s logo.

    Comparison with Xbox One controller

    Obviously, the Razer Wildcat was based on the Xbox One gamepad; the visual similarity between them speaks for itself. If you don’t focus on the additional keys and the Razer Wildcat’s universal audio output, you might not notice the difference. But once you pick up the gamepad, everything falls into place.

    Due to the chopped shape of the handles, the Razer Wildcat fits differently in your hand; with your middle finger, you kind of clasp the handles and press the gamepad to your palms. But the main difference lies in the feel of working with the main controls: the Razer Wildcat sticks are larger, the bumpers are pressed across the entire area, the D-pad is separate, and the action buttons are mechanical. Overall, pressing the Razer Wildcat's buttons feels like clicking a mouse, while the Xbox One feels like a TV remote control.

    Appearance

    The Razer Wildcat looks impressive and aggressive in its own way, this is facilitated by the characteristic chopped shape of the body and the bright combination of green and black. The location of all controls on the front panel remains standard. A number of additional keys have appeared at the bottom; we will look at their operation in more detail below. Below the Xbox button there is an LED indicator indicating that the controller is ready for use. Under the decorative glossy cover on either side of the Xbox button there are two more indicators that inform the user that one of the three profiles is activated.

    The reverse side of the gamepad attracts attention with two additional metal triggers. If necessary, they can always be removed; a screwdriver is included in the kit for this purpose. The two switches above limit the travel of the triggers. Additional buttons M1 and M2 duplicate the operation of the bumpers.

    Wire and connector

    A three-meter USB cable is used to connect the gamepad to a computer or console. The wire is braided with fabric, the weave is fine and dense, making it difficult to bend and hold its shape. At the junction with the gamepad, the wire is reinforced for bending, which significantly reduces the likelihood of internal breakage if used carelessly. In addition, the wire has a breakable joint, which will not allow the console to be pulled along if someone accidentally snags the wire.

    The non-standard shape of the microUSB plug does not allow using a regular wire to connect the gamepad. If the original wire is damaged or lost, you will have to contact the manufacturer for assistance or try to adapt a suitable plug from regular wire. The ferrite filter is installed at a distance of 15 cm from the gamepad, which makes the already heavy wire even heavier. What prevented me from installing a filter at the base of the USB plug is unclear to me. The connector is soldered to the main board, installed without a slot in the PCB, the solder is reliable, the flux is washed off completely.

    Main controls

    Despite the standard layout of the main controls, operating the Razer Wildcat will take some getting used to. Mechanical switches, separate D-pad, large sticks, all of this has a significant impact on the gameplay.

    The first thing I had to get used to was the action keys (ABXY). Mechanical switches are installed under these buttons; they are pressed very easily, have a short stroke and are accompanied by a loud click, just like the main keys of a computer mouse.

    If you, like me, are used to holding the gamepad with a “lazy grip”, that is, pressing the “A” button with your knuckle and the “X” button with the pad of your thumb, get ready for false positives, since the buttons register any, even the slightest, pressure. To avoid this, you will have to operate the action keys exclusively with the pad of your thumb. I won’t say that I was glad to relearn, but the percentage of successful combos in Mortal Kombat X increased over time, and it became more comfortable to play.

    The caps themselves consist of two parts, the bottom is made of colored plastic, and the top is a transparent cap that protects the cap from wear.

    The mechanism of the sticks is no different; it works smoothly, without excessive sensitivity. The area of the sticks is several millimeters larger than the sticks of the Xbox One gamepad, which also takes some getting used to.

    It was not possible to find the dead zone. For comparison, the graph below shows the budget Speedlink Torid gamepad; one of its shortcomings is the dead zone of the sticks (~ 2-3 mm in the extreme position). If we talk about durability, then the complete passage of Dark Souls 3 and the Witcher 3: Blood and Wine expansion did not leave any traces of use on the sticks. But for a gamepad, a couple of completed games is not an indicator.

    Under the bumper there is a regular flat switch, it is easy to press, the press is registered over the entire area of the bumper, whereas on the Xbox One gamepad the press is registered only from the edge. Among the shortcomings, we can note the play of the bumpers due to unsuccessful fastening. It is noteworthy that Xbox One gamepads do not have this drawback.

    The triggers completely copy the Xbox One gamepad, which is not bad, at least I was happy with them. A permanent magnet is installed on the trigger under the heat shrink, and a Hall sensor is soldered on the main board, which detects changes in the magnetic field. Compared to a conventional encoder, this mechanism is much more reliable.

    A separate D-pad on controllers styled like an Xbox gamepad is rare; the Razer Wildcat is just that case. There is a regular membrane installed under the buttons.

    Additional buttons

    Additional controls are one of the main features of the Razer Wildcat gamepad. The Quick Control Panel is an integral part of the case and is a block of four additional buttons. In essence, the Quick Settings panel is the same as the Xbox One headset adapter, which can be purchased in addition to the original Xbox controller. The usual flat switches are installed under the pushers, and the microphone on/off button is backlit.

    By default, the additional keys M1 and M2 duplicate the bumpers, M3 and M4 duplicate the operation of the triggers. If necessary, additional keys can be assigned any other action; the reassignment button is used for this.

    Note: To reassign buttons, you must activate the first or second profile. The standard profile does not allow any settings.

    The Razer Wildcat has one standard and two custom profiles. To sequentially switch between user profiles, just click the “Profile” button. The active profile is highlighted with a green indicator next to the Xbox button. To activate a standard profile, you must press and hold the “Profile” button for three seconds.

    When a headset is connected to the Razer Wildcat Controller, its microphone can be turned on or off with the press of a button. When the microphone is muted, the button lights up orange.

    The sound control button allows you to adjust the overall volume and the balance between the chat volume and the volume of sounds in the game. To change the overall volume, you need to hold the volume button and press the direction key (up or down). The balance between the chat volume and the volume of sounds in the game is also adjusted.

    Kailh mechanical switches are installed under the additional M1 and M2 keys. What prevented me from installing mechanical switches under the main bumpers is unclear to me.

    The additional keys M3 and M4 are made in the form of triggers; during the entire testing period I never found them useful. During the game, the additional keys do not interfere at all; however, they can always be removed; the seats are covered with decorative plugs when the triggers are removed. There are Omron mechanical switches under the pushers, the same as under the action keys (ABXY).

    Connectivity and Compatibility

    To get started, just connect the gamepad to your computer or console. When connected to a computer, the Razer Wildcat is identified as an Xbox controller; the manufacturer claims compatibility with Windows 7 and higher. The driver is installed automatically; in extreme cases, it can be downloaded from the official website. The capabilities of the Quick Settings panel when connected to a computer are limited, the volume control and microphone mute buttons are inactive, headsets and headphones are also not detected. Full operation of the Quick Settings panel is only possible when connected to an Xbox One.

    To connect a headset or headphones, a standard mini-jack connector is used; the manufacturer abandoned the original Xbox connector, which allows the user to use their own headset.

    In current games, the Razer Wildcat is detected without problems, vibration works correctly, all keys have certain actions preset, and if necessary, the controls can be reconfigured to suit you in the menu of the game itself. Problems may only arise with older games that use DirectInput libraries, for example, Gothic. During testing, I managed to complete Dark Souls 3 and The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine, play Mass Effect, Flat Out: Ultimate Carnage, Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2005) and Gothic. The first problems began with Mass Effect, the gamepad in the game did not show any signs of life, but after installing the Xbox controller patch, everything worked as it should, including vibration. In Need for Speed: Most Wanted, the gamepad worked, but not entirely correctly, the A and B buttons swapped places, and it was impossible to reassign them in the game menu. But the old Gothic (patch 1.08) flatly refused to work with Razer Wildcat and no updates or mods can solve this problem, since the game, in principle, does not know about such an API as XInput. The only thing that can help you is software solutions that emulate the operation of a keyboard and mouse using a gamepad, for example, Xpadder.

    When testing the gamepad, I couldn’t ignore such a nice little thing as the Sega and NES emulators. Razer Wildcat works correctly with emulators; you just need to assign the necessary keys in the settings of the emulator itself.

    Feedback

    Feedback is provided by four vibration motors: one in each trigger and handle. It is noteworthy that the electric motor eccentric in the left handle has a significantly smaller diameter compared to the right one, this allows the gamepad to vibrate with different intensities, depending on the game developer’s ideas. For example, if you get shot in a third-person shooter and your character slowly drags his injured leg behind him, the controller will vibrate slightly with each step. If, while playing Flat Out: Ultimate Carnage, you missed a turn and crashed your car into a reinforced concrete fence, all four vibration motors will work simultaneously.

    Conclusion

    Sometimes you just want to lounge in a cozy chair and enjoy the massacre in Mortal Kombat or the genocide of drowners in the third Witcher. It is at such moments that you usually think about a gamepad, because nothing more convenient for these purposes has yet been invented. It is not surprising that for owners of personal computers, the gamepad is gradually becoming an integral part of the gaming peripheral. During testing, the Razer Wildcat left mostly positive impressions: excellent build quality, ergonomics, well-thought-out circuit design, reliable component base and impressive appearance. Thanks to mechanical switches, the Razer Wildcat resembles a scalpel in the hands of a surgeon, and, like any precision instrument, requires skillful handling and getting used to. Among the shortcomings, it is worth noting the play of the bumpers, which turns the Razer Wildcat into a rattle, which, in my opinion, is unacceptable for a gamepad of this level. And the unique shape of the plug, which does not allow the user to independently replace the wire if it is accidentally damaged or lost.

    After the terrible gamepad, the Razer Raiju controller was a real revelation for me. I tested this gamepad for almost a month, and during this time it became one of the most popular devices from my entire collection of gaming gadgets. This controller will be optimal for fans of shooters and all kinds of action games, but fans of fighting games will have to get used to the unusual D-Pad. Good equipment, excellent design and quality of materials, a large number of additional programmable keys and a quick access panel to vital functions - this is not a complete list of the advantages of this controller. The only thing that's a little scary is its cost - 10,990 rubles, which is more than two times more expensive than the DualShock 4. But you can overpay for additional functionality and equipment at least once in your life.

    Everyone has their own level of comfort in gaming. For some, a simple mouse and keyboard is enough, for others, fancy gaming solutions are enough, while others simply cannot imagine life without various manipulators and gamepads. Fans of consoles who have played on them for several generations cannot imagine what a game is without a “joystick,” and when it comes to their favorite consoles, they certainly won’t offend themselves and are sometimes willing to pay a significant amount for high-quality controllers and class. Today we will talk about a representative of just this class.

    • Model – Razer Sabertooth;
    • Controller type – wired;
    • Compatibility – PC, Xbox 360;
    • Number of main buttons – 10;
    • Number of programmable buttons – 6;
    • Number of mini-joysticks – 2;
    • Type of keys – membrane;
    • Polling frequency – 1000 Hz;
    • Detachable cable – yes;
    • Built-in backlighting of buttons – yes;
    • Built-in display – yes;
    • Setting up profiles – yes;
    • Cable length – 3 m;
    • Connection – USB, Xinput.

    Packaging and equipment of the device

    The front side of the box in the Razer company design looks very interesting. The box features the company's logo, the Sabertooth label, and an Xbox 360 licensing sticker.

    On the bottom of the box there is information about the main features of the controller, including in Russian. There is also a sticker from the distributor - Grafitec, which actually provided the controller for review. This sticker contains basic information about the manufacturer and the warranty period.

    On the back side there are several angles of the controller itself, some information about the functionality and features of the controller, exclusively in English

    On the left side, several features of the gamepad are also indicated, accompanied by photographs.

    On the right, a statement from a professional Gears of War player and captain of the AmazYn team, Kendall ‘ARCTIC’ Smith, one of those who tested this product and knows firsthand about the advantages of this gamepad. We think the recommendations of such venerable players cannot leave avid fans of console games indifferent. Also on the side is the high class of the device – Elite.

    Opening the box we will see: a case with stiffening ribs (ideally protecting the controller during transportation), a warranty card, a user manual and a card with an image of a gamepad (the set should have also included two stickers with the Razer logo, but they did not reach me for reasons unknown to me ). The case contains: the joystick itself, a cable for connecting to the console/PC, 2 acid green stick covers, two removable toggle switches and a screwdriver for installing/removing them.

    The cable itself deserves special attention. The cable has a fabric braided jacket and quite an impressive length, as well as a removable design with a metal fastener, which will significantly increase the life of the cable. The cable also has an adapter from Xinput to USB.

    Appearance

    Externally, the product is very similar to the original Xbox joystick and even more similar to the previous solution from Razer - Onza. However, the presence of an LCD display and a slightly non-standard button design make the controller stand out somewhat. The controller itself has a Soft-Touch coating, which makes it very pleasant to hold and even more pleasant to play with. Actually, on the front part there are all the main buttons inherent in the Xbox 360 controller, as well as two buttons for controlling the LCD display.

    On the top of the joystick there is a threaded socket for installing and fixing the cable, as well as the familiar RB, LB, RT, LT buttons, as well as two additional, customizable keys M1 and M2.

    At the bottom of the joystick there is a 2.5 mm jack for connecting a microphone.

    The included stick covers not only look very stylish, but also increase the ease of use of the buttons, and also reliably protect them from abrasion and scratches.

    There are two toggle switches on the back that can be installed using the included screwdriver. Each switch is shaped like a lever and performs the action of two buttons (adjustable via LCD display). The advantage of such switches is the speed of their response, as well as the ability to customize any key on the gamepad, which will be especially appreciated by Xbox owners, where customizing the keys for themselves is often simply necessary. The presence of profiles will allow you to switch between different button settings while playing.

    The actual thickness of the controller is standard and no different from its analogues, and its classic design has also been preserved.

    As we indicated earlier, the dimensions of the joystick have not been changed, nor has its shape. The photo shows the Razer Sabertooth joystick next to another Xbox 360 controller (compatible only with PC), the SpeedLink Xeox, which will be discussed in the next review.

    Connection and functionality

    The joystick connected to the PC was immediately detected and automatically installed individual manually installed drivers. To avoid any problems, you will need an Internet connection so that the necessary software can be installed from the Windows Download Center.

    The connected joystick immediately lights up the A, B, X, Y buttons, the Xbox button and the LCD display.

    Actually a type of illumination in the dark. As for the display, we’ll tell you more about it. Let's look at the main combinations:
    1. By pressing the left button near the display, a profile is selected into which various parameters configured in programming mode will be saved (sensitivity, programmable keys, etc.);
    2. When you press the right button next to the display, a menu appears. Without switching to other menu items, the first item will be Program mode, in this mode you can adjust the sensitivity of the sticks (just press the desired stick and use the up and down buttons to select the sensitivity), configure toggle switches and additional keys (for To do this, you need to hold down the M1-M6 button and the required button to configure this key).
    3. When you press the right button near the display and press the button down, you go to the next line of the menu - Test Mode, in which you can check the sensitivity of the sticks relative to the axes in any direction if you doubt the adequacy of its operation.
    4. When you press the right button near the display and press the down button twice, you go to the menu line - Rumble, it turns on/off the vibration feedback of the controller.
    5. When you press the right button near the display and press the down button twice, you go to the menu line - Backlight, which turns the backlight on or off, the effect of turning off the backlight lasts until the joystick is rebooted, then it will automatically turn on.

    Testing

    Before moving on to this point, I would like to say that we were unable to test the controller on the Xbox 360. We did not have this device in stock, and we could not find it for testing. Since there were no problems with the operation of the Razer controller on the PC, they will not arise when working with the Xbox, since all the settings are inside the joystick, there is no separate software. Accordingly, there should be no difference.

    Actually, in the game the gamepad performed more than worthy. No inappropriate operations were detected, the keys are responsive, there are no delays. The joystick feedback system worked depending on the selected game and never failed. The key travel is soft and small. When you press most keys, you hear a soft click, and the response speed is very high. In order to clearly demonstrate the use of a gamepad with a PC, we will present a couple of videos from our editorial office. All the subtleties in this not the best (in this case, my) style of play are associated, first of all, with the inability to play on gamepads (personally, I’m more used to a keyboard and mouse), and the gamepad behaved more than decently and there are no complaints about it. Streaming video the process of playing with a gamepad using the example of NFS Most Wanted 2012: In this game, feedback in the form of vibration was triggered even if there were bumps on the road (for example, on the side of the road). In general, the process of playing with a gamepad is more than interesting, although for me it is extremely unusual.

    Video from the camera (from the player's side) of the game process with a gamepad using The Witcher 2 Assassins of Kings as an example: Playing such a seasoned RPG as The Witcher 2 was not as difficult for me as the Most Wanted race, but I still experienced inconvenience when controlling , but it's all a matter of habit.

    Note: the sound in the first video was removed due to out of sync during recording (the reason could not be found out), in the second video due to the presence of extraneous sounds

    Conclusion

    Undoubtedly, the gamepad copes with its task more than adequately. It will appeal to all fans of games on gamepads. To summarize, let’s put together all the pros and cons of the device: Pros:
    • excellent responsiveness;
    • excellent materials;
    • high build quality;
    • many additional functions;
    • backlighting of function buttons;
    • LCD display for easy setup;
    • high polling frequency;
    • rich equipment;
    • soft keys with short travel and instant response;
    • removable cable, resistant to abrasion and damage;
    • Supports both Xbox 360 and PC.
    Minuses:
    • high price.
    That's all, I thank the Grafitec company (www.grafitec.ru) for providing the controller for review. Have a good game and see you again!

    Razer specializes in producing peripherals (keyboards, mice, speakers, etc.) designed for hardcore gamers. In the modern industry, console games occupy a significant niche; championships are regularly held for them, and this market segment cannot be ignored. And now the company’s product range includes Razer Onza, a “professional game controller” for Xbox 360 and PC, which we will consider. We will also dwell on the features of its older brother, subtitled Tournament Edition.

    The Razer Onza series gamepads appeared on the market a couple of years ago, and are gradually gaining more and more popularity, since they are a good alternative to standard controllers for the Xbox 360. New sets with thematic branding are regularly announced (, etc.).

    The Razer Onza series controllers were created taking into account the recommendations of professional players, with an eye on tournament competitions. And we must admit that Razer engineers did their best. So much so that at one time these gamepads were even banned from the championships of the largest electronic sports organization, Major League Gaming (MLG).

    Equipment and connection

    The controller comes in a box with a catchy design - bright green inserts on a black background. The gamepad is tightly packed, it is not afraid of falls and other shocks that may occur during careless transportation.

    In addition to the controller itself, the kit includes:

    • Brief installation and operation guide with description of features
    • Two signature Razer logo stickers
    • Razer Certificate of Authenticity

    All this is placed in a stylish black envelope.

    The controller is compatible with both Xbox 360 and personal computers. In both cases, the connection is made via a USB port. In the case of the Xbox 360, everything works from the first moment without problems. On a PC, due to the lack of a disk with the necessary programs included in the package, you will need to look for drivers on the Internet. Although this does not apply to all operating systems. In Windows 7 and Vista, the device is recognized automatically. Therefore, there is no need to talk about any serious troubles associated with this feature.

    Appearance, ergonomics and connectivity

    In shape and size, the Razer Onza is not fundamentally different from the standard controller for the Xbox 360. Only the colors are different, and on the right wing, on the black matte finish, you can see the glossy Razer logo.

    The controller fits extremely comfortably in the palm of your hand. There are additional bulges on the bottom of the handles, which prevent the gamepad from slipping in your hands and ensure a secure fit. The ridges for the ring fingers are wider and more massive than on the original Microsoft controller.

    Razer Onza

    The Razer Onza has a textured plastic surface, while the Razer Onza Tournament Edition has a rubberized material that makes it non-slip even in sweaty palms.

    Another distinctive feature of the Razer Onza series will not be to everyone's taste - there is no wireless connection. However, this decision also has many positive aspects. There are no power issues, and the lack of a battery compartment makes the device lighter than a standard Xbox 360 controller.

    When using the controller, nothing interferes with your fingers, and you can place them on the bottom as you please. The authors also approached the issue of distance wisely and equipped the controller with a flexible cable as much as 4.5 meters long.

    The quality of the wire is not satisfactory. In the Razer Onza Tournament Edition, it is additionally covered with a special braid to avoid fractures when twisted.

    Control Features

    First, let's look at the “front” side of the gamepad.

    The Back and Start buttons have been moved down, and a 2.5 mm jack is located directly below them. for connecting a voice communication headset.

    The D-pad of the classic controller for the Xbox 360 actually receives many unflattering epithets due to the insufficient accuracy of press recognition, which is extremely critical in fighting games, platformers, some shooters and logic games. The “up” command can easily turn into “right-up” and “left-up”, if you just make a slight mistake in the placement of your finger. The new revision of controllers from Microsoft, equipped with a transformable D-pad, also turned out to be far from ideal.

    Razer Onza Tournament Edition

    The Razer Onza avoids this problem entirely thanks to discrete buttons on the D-pad. They are large in size and clearly separated from each other. As a result, you won’t miss the right one, and button combinations can be pressed simply (for example, “up-right” and “up-left” - you’ll never confuse them). A very, very good decision.

    The X, Y, B, A buttons use Razer's proprietary Hyperesponse technology, which debuts on a gamepad for the first time, and provides instant, effortless clicks with the quiet clicks typical of mice.

    Razer Onza

    The buttons on the original Xbox 360 controllers have membrane switches that have more resistance (compared to Razer's nearly weightless solution). Thus, sometimes too much time passes between pressing and reacting, and your fingers quickly get tired in intense games.

    In turn, the mechanical switches used in the Razer Onza are capable of providing almost instantaneous response to pressing. Although this approach, when any touch does not pass without a trace, requires getting used to.

    The Tournament Edition adds backlighting for the four buttons X, Y, B, A. It's a small thing, but it can be useful in the dark.

    Backlit keys on the Razer Onza Tournament Edition

    The Razer Onza's analog sticks are positioned asymmetrically as on a standard Xbox 360 controller. The left stick sits above the D-pad, while the right stick sits below the A, B, X, Y buttons.

    The stick caps are concave and made of a special rubberized material. A distinctive feature of the sticks is their size - they are slightly higher than standard ones and have a larger angle of inclination, which provides precise control.

    The main difference between the Tournament Edition and its younger brother is the presence of adjustable analog stick hardness levels. The opportunity, by the way, is unique and has not been implemented anywhere else.

    The difference in the implementation of sticks between
    Razer Onza (left) andRazer Onza Tournament Edition (right)

    Under the hats of the right and left Tournament Edition sticks there are wheels that are responsible for adjusting the spring stiffness, which returns them to the vertical position. It can be adjusted at any time. The clicks heard when turning the wheel allow you to better navigate.

    The hardness level of the sticks can be changed independently of each other. That is, on the left stick you can set a low level of rigidity in order to tilt it with light touches, and on the right you can set a higher level - and it will take significant force to give it an extreme position.

    The front end design of the Razor Onza is very different from the traditional one due to the presence of two additional bumpers RMFB and LMFB. They are located above the standard RB and LB, so that they can be pressed simultaneously with one finger. In some games this gives a serious advantage.

    The RMFB and LMFB bumpers are fully programmable; you can simply assign the function of any other controller button to them.

    The setup process couldn't be simpler. There are special Remap Left and Remap Right buttons on the bottom surface of the controller. Pressing, for example, Remap Left and A at the same time will immediately turn LMFB into A. This way you can duplicate all the controller buttons, including Back and Start.

    Traditional LB and RB bumpers are made in the shape of the letter “L”, which allows you to press them with the middle phalanx of the index finger without removing it from the “trigger” (LT or RT).

    At the end of the article, let’s dwell on a couple of rough edges. The controller is not compatible with the Microsoft Messenger Kit (a keyboard built into the controller for quickly typing messages on Xbox Live).
