In-depth review of Trials Frontier on iPad. The ultimate guide to Westworld: how to keep androids under control Trials Frontier: secrets

The game Trials Frontier is an ideological continuation of the well-known Gravity Defied. You can install Trials Frontier on Android and iOS.

    Trials Frontier: features

The game has many locations where you will have a lot of trips along steep turns and dangerous roads. You can compete with your friends to take first place in the ranking. A large number of tracks are available to you, each of which has its own characteristics and physics. At the same time, the passage of the game will captivate you with its complexity.

    The game features are:

    • The game is completely designed for touchscreen smartphones, so there should be no difficulties in controlling it.
    • The game contains lists of the best racers in the world and among your friends;
    • The game world is beautifully designed, its storyline is thought out so as not to let you get bored while playing.
    • A large number of tracks and tasks (about 250), which are provided to you by other characters.
    • Realistic physics makes the game Trials Frontier unique, which has no analogues on Android.
    • Lots of feints and tricks that you can perform on your motorcycle;
    • The game village needs your help to develop (there is no need to do farming, such as farms, just go through the tracks).
    • Game time takes at least 50 hours to complete.
    • There is humor in the game.
    • There are about 10 interesting locations for racing.
    • During the game, you will have to upgrade both individual buildings in the village and your level as a motorcyclist in order to receive skills and various trophies for this.
    • There are 9 variants of motorcycles in the game, all of which can be modified and upgraded. There are also three classes.
    • In addition to friends, you can play with your ghost.
    • The game does not require constant access to the Internet, and regular mobile Internet is sufficient to download it. No Wi-Fi required.
    • Trials Frontier can be played in English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and Simplified Chinese.
    • To install, your device must have Android version 2.3.3 or better installed.

    Trials Frontier: secrets

To successfully play Trials Frontier, you need to constantly improve your vehicles, buildings, etc. In order to do this, a certain supply of diamonds and money is required. However, like any means, they are not endless. This is why we will tell you about some of the secrets of Trials Frontier.

Since you don't need to pay for content to install the game, the game provides other ways to spend your money. You can purchase boosters for your motorcycle, cans of gasoline, and bags filled with gold. But all this costs a lot of diamonds, as in any similar toy.

Their cost is very high, and not everyone wants to spend mobile money on such resources. There are other ways to obtain diamonds:

Here are some tips for investing your diamonds that will help you quickly develop in the game:

    • Open new islands for diamonds.
    • Buy new equipment by collecting it in sets. This way you can get other rewards.
    • If you fail to beat your opponent in a competition or complete some difficult task, diamonds will help replace them.
    • To ensure you always have enough gas, you can add diamonds to a wider version of your motorcycle gas tank.
    • Also buy a “super magnet”, which can significantly increase the money you are paid after completing the track.

I remember well the mobile phone boom at my school. These were 2004 - 2005. Already in 2006 I got my own Siemens C65 mobile phone. The most popular game at that time was the motorcycle trial Gravity Defied, every schoolchild who had a phone that supported this masterpiece played it. The game was distinguished by its rather strange, minimalistic design of the track and excellent motorcycle physics. The whole essence of the game came down to passing the track, and there were “as many” as 4 motorcycles. The last one was unlocked after beating the game.

Gravity Defied was short-lived, but even during that time it made you sweat, especially on the 100% track, which I think many people remember. :) My friends and I competed in the time it took to complete the tracks, constantly improving our technique for completing the levels. The difference reached hundredths of seconds. It was really fun, although there was nothing special about the game. I finished playing Gravity Defied in 2010. I can’t even imagine how many thousands of times I drove along the highways during this time. But let's go back to 2014 and see what a modern motorcycle trial looks like.

Our adventure begins in a small town with a few buildings and characters. Yes, the game has a plot, but it is very simple and not particularly interesting to watch. The whole point is that you need to defeat the enemy - Butch and his assistants. He is also a motorcyclist, just like you. The plot is presented through short monologues before the next task.

Each building has its own functions: in the Saloon we take on missions, in the Garage we improve our motorcycles, in the Dwelling we put on new things, and so on.

At first, Trials Frontier takes on a fast pace, captivating us with more and more new characters. The cartographer asks us to scout out a new route, mechanic Sledge (almost the namesake :D) says that the motorcycle needs to be strengthened, a little girl sends us for candy. Some will even ask you to overtake the ghost. It’s a pity that this riot soon gives way to monotony in style: bring so many details, do a few back or forward somersaults.

After receiving the task, we go to the World Map. All routes are located on it. At the moment I have opened about 70 tracks. That's not all, because there are dark areas, plus the developers will have to add more in future updates.

All tracks are divided into 3 difficulty levels. The more difficult the level, the more gasoline you need to pay to enter the track. Yes, the main limiting factor is gasoline. And there is very little of it. For example, I have 56 units of gasoline at character level 37. To enter an easy track you need to pay 5 units, for a medium one - 7 and for a difficult one - 10. That is, in one session of the game with a full tank I can ride on 5 difficult tracks. Not much. It’s good that you don’t have to spend anything on repeated attempts to complete the route. Once you stop in, you can replay the level as much as you like. Until you go back to the map. One unit of gasoline is replenished in 3 minutes. You can do the rest of the fun math yourself. Perhaps further trails of 4 difficulty levels will open.

On the World Map, swiping to the left brings up a small menu with active tasks. In order not to get confused on the map, I advise you to use this particular menu, and not constantly run to the Saloon to see what needs to be done. Very comfortably.

When you click on the track icon, another menu “crawls out”, which shows the completion time and the corresponding medal, your place in the world table, and the details (the second limiting factor) that can be obtained after completing the track, but more on that later. Let's get straight to the racing.

Yes, the graphics in the game are excellent. Drawn backgrounds and objects. At first you even get lost and cannot understand where to go. But after studying the route, this misunderstanding goes away. Something is smoking somewhere, water is dripping from the stones, barrels are exploding. Some objects even have physical properties (falling logs and stones, sagging bridges). In general, thanks to the developers for the graphics as a whole, everything is simple, concise and tasteful. You don’t have to stop at the sound, everything is fine with it.

There are no special difficulties when passing, the routes themselves are quite simple and can be completed in an average of 20-30 seconds. I can remember a couple of places on a couple of tracks where I got stuck for a minute. But after improving the motorcycle, they also began to go through the motions. There are a bunch of checkpoints scattered along the route. You fall off the motorcycle, press the restart button and instantly find yourself at the last checkpoint. If you hold the button, the level restarts.

I really like the fact that the hero is “revitalized” instantly, because I often have to replay checkpoints and levels. Applause to the developers for such work. Another funny thing is that after the finish the hero almost always dies, and on each track in different ways: you can simply explode on a barrel, a huge container can suddenly fall on your head, or some kind of hook will grab you and throw you far into the sky.

A motorcycle is a different matter. Each has its own unique design, coloring, even sound. The physics is good, arcade-like. It stands firmly on the ground, nothing falls through, shock absorbers dampen, the exhaust comes out of the corresponding pipe. :) All motorcycles are divided into 3 classes, as are the tracks. You can only enter a track of a certain level on a motorcycle of the appropriate class. In addition, you can choose a motorcycle that is fast, maneuverable or optimal. I usually choose the agile one because it has great handling and good speed. Each motorcycle feels different, therefore the tactics of passing the route are different on a certain motorcycle.

In general, the controls in the game are simple, there are only 4 buttons (gas, brake and tilt forward and backward), and you learn quickly. Well, there’s also a quick restart button. The control of the technique is excellent. It is possible to customize the location of the buttons for yourself.

At the beginning of the game you are given the first wrecked car, which drives somehow. New motorcycles are unlocked using blueprints. The drawings are divided into parts. Part of the drawing can be obtained after completing the corresponding mission. Collecting the entire drawing takes a lot of time. But this only encourages you to play even more, because you can’t wait to ride the new “horse” and learn its behavior. At the moment, I have opened 7 motorcycles, plus I have almost completed the blueprint for the eighth. Well, another part of the drawing of the ninth motorcycle has already been obtained. I hope more will be added in the future.

After completing the route, you are given a little experience, coins, and also to spin the roulette, on which all sorts of goodies are located. Most often there are 4 different parts. In addition, each time there are a few crystals located there, but the chance of them falling out is the smallest. Instead of parts, there are also coins (the third limiting factor), new tracks, clothes and motorcycle liveries.

In order to slightly increase the chance of getting the prize you want, you need to tap and hold on the prize, then the area will become larger. Unfortunately, this does not work with crystals. Then you can use gasoline to go along the new route, spin the roulette wheel for crystals, or go back to the world map.

If you click on the small button of the bag (top center), you will be taken to the details menu. Personally, I didn’t immediately find this menu and at first I couldn’t understand where all the details went and how to see how many there were. They are needed to improve motorcycles, as well as some tasks. There are 10 types of parts, plus they are also divided into 5 levels. Parts of a low level can be melted down to obtain a part of a higher level (for example, to get a spring of level 2, you need to melt down 3 springs of level 1, and so on). Now I have reached the routes where you can get level 3 parts through roulette, but the chance of them falling out is small. In some tasks you already need to get level 5 parts. It takes quite a long time to get one of these. Details can only be obtained through roulette, after completing the route. A blue exclamation mark highlights details needed for the mission.

There are always not enough parts, so you have to retake the routes. I already have a mental note of which routes are best for getting certain parts. It is these routes that are best studied.

In the garage you improve your motorcycles. If you see a flashing wrench next to the garage building, it means you have enough resources to upgrade your motorcycle. Each one can have its steering system, engine, wheels and frame strengthened. To do this you need parts (3 different ones for one boost) and coins. And time. At first, the enhancement goes quickly, but now some of them take me 72 hours of real time and this is not the limit. A very slow process.

In general, each element in a motorcycle can be improved 10 times, and in total it can be upgraded 40 times. Outwardly, this does not affect the motorcycle in any way, which is a little upsetting, but it greatly affects the behavior on the track. As soon as you literally make a couple of divisions, the control becomes better and the speed becomes faster. Often you can’t overtake the enemy, well, it just doesn’t work out and that’s it, even if you pass the track like a jeweler. No need to suffer and beat your head against the wall, just upgrade by a couple of units and everything will go like clockwork.

The coins needed to upgrade a motorcycle are always scarce. You can get them while passing the track (they give little), at roulette (sometimes the prize reaches 20 thousand coins), after completing missions and in a slot machine.

The slot machine doesn't open right away, so don't be alarmed when you don't see it at the beginning of the game. The slot machine has its own name - Lotz, he sometimes jokes in his own way, and there is a large stock of jokes. To receive a prize (coins, crystals, clothes, coloring pages, amplifiers, new tracks, gasoline), you need to complete the task that Lotz will give you. Tasks are generated randomly: a motorcycle, a track, and tricks are selected (for example, do 3 backflips and stay in the air for 10 seconds).

There are also additional conditions: never fall off the motorcycle and qualify for a certain medal. After meeting the conditions, you can pull the lever to receive a random prize. In addition, there are 4 special prizes that change every 24 hours. You can play the slot machine every 90 minutes (until the latest update, every 60 minutes), if, of course, you were able to complete the task. You can also level up the machine. Experience drops out randomly as one of the prizes. The higher Lotz's level, the better the prizes. I now have Lotz almost level 13. This is where you can accumulate coins the fastest. Lotz often gives you the worst-pumped motorcycles, so I advise you not to get hung up on a couple of motorcycles and, when opening a new one, pump up a couple of bars of each element (it’s too difficult to do tricks on unpumped motorcycles).

Crystals-crystals. With them you are simply a king and God. You can spin the roulette as much as you want, play with Lotz, and don’t wait for Sledge to spend a few hours in the garage upgrading his motorcycle. You can even get endless gas for a while and give your opponent a banana peel trick on the track. And also buy new coloring pages for the motorcycle and clothes for yourself. Crystals fall out on the roulette table after completing the track, in the slot machine, after completing some missions, and give a little more with a new level. It seems like he named all the sources... ah... well, you can also buy them for real money. I haven't invested a single ruble into the game yet.

Crystals, although rare, still fall out. I recommend spending them on improving the tank (to do this, tap on the tank with a timer in the city). An increase of 1 unit costs 20 coins. The second place of use I will put is the repeated rotation of the roulette. Sometimes you are given a mission to obtain a special item, and this item can only be obtained in roulette after completing a certain route. And in order to gain access to roulette, you need to defeat your opponent, who is often very strong. Therefore, I always advise you to have 20 - 30 crystals in stock. Plus, recently the developers added a new island with 6 new tracks with an update. To access them, you need to repair the bridge for 95 crystals. Robbery. Robbery all around.

The game also has amplifiers: magnets give more coins when passing the track and also endless gas for a while. But I haven’t focused on them at all, I don’t use them.

So what do we get in the end? A kind of “juicer” in which there is always not enough gasoline to start passing the highway; coins to upgrade your motorcycle; parts in order to again improve the motorcycle or complete the next parts-collecting (the developers are simply guilty of doing this) quest; crystals to spend them somewhere. Wait for the gas to recover, wait for the bike to power up Sledge, wait for Lotz to give himself access. And so on. So what keeps me playing this game for months?

The answer lies in well-built routes, in the timing of the routes. Remember how I talked about my time in Gravity Defied? So, each track here is a small riddle, the solution to which is a platinum medal in the shortest time. The first time you pass, you study the route, then again and again. It seems like I understood everything, how to pass, where to flip forward or backward, and where to slow down, but if you strengthen the motorcycle a little, the situation changes. Sometimes you accidentally drive differently than before and end up in some areas that you didn’t notice before, and you end up reaching the finish line faster. The passage of each piece adds up to one puzzle.

Repeated playthroughs for these details and coins are just an addition to the main one - the time it takes you to complete the route. Without them, you would fly through the levels once and forget about them. For me, the main motivator is time, not a new motorcycle or a new part. They are just tools to solve the riddle of getting a platinum medal. It's not just that the game shows you where you are in the world based on the time you complete each track. You can also add friends in the game and compete with them. Why, you can always start a competition in the Robot’s Saloon (it doesn’t open right away) with the ghost of real players, whom the Robot chooses at random.

Trials Frontier became a kind of new Gravity Defied, which I already missed. Due to the lack of gasoline, gaming sessions do not last long, but even this was enough to significantly increase the duration of a trip to the bathroom. :) Indeed, it’s time to stop taking your smartphone to such places. I don’t think it’s a big disadvantage that there’s always little gas, because it doesn’t allow you to get stuck in the (free (!)) game for a long time. Therefore, you don’t get bored with this motorcycle trial, you don’t have time to “get enough” of it and often you look forward to the time when the tank is replenished and you can start the race against time again.

This article gives practical tips on how to make your baits more attractive using regular table salt. This method is very simple, but it can significantly affect the results of your fishing.

With ole having made the headlines for carp fishing a number of times, it's worth understanding why this extra component of lures can be a key factor in increasing their effectiveness. Carps need salts of various chemical compositions, which are vital for them to maintain the health of the body and control a process called osmoregulation. Let's try to figure out what osmosis is, why salt is so good in bait and how it can be used to have the most successful session.

    Scientific basis

Let's get acquainted with one aspect of carp biochemistry. This fish, which we spend so much time catching, is a complex organism with a constantly depleting internal supply of salts. Without the correct salt content in both the muscles and internal organs, carp get sick and can die, so they usually look for ways to restore their salt balance. Since the content of minerals in lake water is usually very low, carp experience a certain salt deficiency. Water always strives to penetrate the body of the fish and wash away salts from there, while it constantly tries to get rid of this excess water using osmoregulation (a set of processes occurring in a living organism aimed at maintaining constant osmotic pressure - Note lane). In other words, as a result of this process, carps retain salts inside their bodies and prevent them from being washed out by the surrounding water. So, in relation to carp fishing, a short summary could be like this: salty baits = happy carp.

    First stage

Adding salt to Spod feeding formulas is nothing new, but there is an inevitable problem: the substance quickly dissolves completely and is simply carried away from its original place due to natural diffusion and some kind of water movement. However, when salt is introduced into the bait, it will be released very slowly, sending a characteristic chemical signal into the water column that attracts carp. Thus, if you have already thought about how to achieve a slow release of salt from a bait thrown into the water, this information can be very useful for you and will significantly affect your future fishing...

First of all, you need to dry the bait. Air drying is the simplest and most common method, but we advise as an alternative to buy a few kilograms of fine table salt, pour a thick layer into a suitable flat container and place on it, say, a hundred boilies that you intend to use as bait, in PVA stringers or as bait.

Make sure that the boilies do not touch each other and sprinkle an equally thick layer of salt on top. It is very important to rotate the balls from time to time and stir the salt surrounding them to improve the drying process. After several days of this treatment, you will receive dehydrated bait with a high salt content, which will be absorbed quite deeply inside. But this is just the beginning...

    Second stage

The next step is to prepare a concentrated, saturated saline solution. Dissolve a few heaping tablespoons of salt in a minimal amount of warm water to form a thick “syrup.” Take some of the salt-dried baits, place them in a ziplock bag and pour this syrup into it. Close the bag and roll the balls in the syrup until they are thoroughly saturated with salt. Now you have rehydrated salted boilies that are more attractive to carp. For some, this treatment will seem sufficient, and such a bait will indeed work on the bottom for quite a long time, but its attractiveness can be increased to an even higher degree.

    Third stage

After several hours of rehydrating the boilies in salt syrup, drain almost all the liquid from the bag and pour in enough coarse rock salt (preferably sea salt, with plate-shaped crystals) to cover all the balls.

Mix the contents of the bag thoroughly and leave it closed overnight. The next morning you will find that the salt has formed a strong crust on the boilies, and this is exactly what you needed to achieve. After entering the reservoir, the salt from such a bait with a thoroughly transformed nutritional profile will be washed out indefinitely - carps will detect it very easily and will hardly be able to resist trying it!

Trials Frontier- a game from Ubisoft dedicated to cross-country motorcycle racing and various stunts performed on a motorcycle. In it you will find yourself in a post-apocalyptic setting in the style of the American West and emerge victorious from competitions in which the ability to perform breathtaking stunts on a motorcycle is the key to success. We offer you some tips on choosing the right strategy of action that will lead you to victory.

Follow Butch's moves– You probably want to defeat the negative hero of this game - Butch - as quickly as possible. The best tactic for this would be to observe the enemy: carefully study his actions and the manner of passing difficult areas. Try to copy his movements - this will benefit you and will really help you overcome obstacles optimally.

Be careful with trick counting- When you start doing jumps, you will need to be careful with the calculations and be extremely attentive. The fact is that after performing the trick, it is not recommended to leave the game if you have not yet reached the save checkpoint. If you exit before the save point, there may be various consequences, including the loss of records of the performed trick.

Don't remember your goals? They are listed in the pull-out menu on the left side of the screen. You will simultaneously receive requests for tasks from many citizens, so it is quite possible to forget about your purpose.

Use the card outside the saloon to get into already open levels - Leave the saloon using the "Home" button in the upper left corner of the screen. Tap any level you need. You must unlock the area map to access the unlocked levels.

Look for motorcycle parts on the map- At any level you can search for bike parts. The list of what can be found is in a special menu on the right side of the screen. But this doesn't mean that the parts will be right in the middle of the level - you just spin the Parts Wheel after the level is completed. This gives you the opportunity to get your hands on the bike parts and use them.

Bike parts can make it cheaper to upgrade- The bike parts you receive make future upgrades much cheaper. You can upgrade the bike without finding parts, but it will cost you a ton of coins.

The better you do in the race, the more you earn– Remember this rule and follow it constantly. Be smart.

Ascents and descents- Such moments in Trials Frontier a little, but without preparation it is quite difficult to pass them.

Race restart does not require fuel consumption. New races will cost you a certain amount of coins, while the restart is free, which is very convenient.

Whether you're a seasoned farmer getting back into the game or a newbie joining a friend's game for the first time, these Stardew Valley tips will have you up to speed in no time.

Harvest Moon fans will immediately feel at home in Stardew Valley. The process of clearing a place of rocks for planting crops is intuitive not only for those who have done it before, but also for beginners. But there are things in Stardew Valley that are not so natural, and some can be downright puzzling.

With update 1.1, Stardew Valley introduced some new farming maps. In the launch menu, you can still choose the standard map with a huge open field, but other maps are designed for those who prefer fishing or hunting to weeding beds. If you're playing for the first time, the standard farm is a good and balanced option for you and will help you figure out what you like most about the game.

The farm on the river is, as you can probably imagine, full of water. This map reduces the size of farming areas, but allows you to catch all kinds of river and lake fish that you would otherwise have to look for in the city. Just don't forget the crab pots!

The forest farm provides the opportunity to feed and grow trees for wood harvesting. A mining farm adds ore deposits, which is much more convenient than going down a mine. On a farm in the middle of nowhere, monsters appear at night, providing an opportunity to hang out in your backyard instead of going through the mines.

I really like Stardew Valley, but I found the controls very confusing at first. I realized that I wasn't always watering/cutting/weeding the area I was targeting, but I couldn't figure out why. Then I discovered the “Always Show Tool Hit Location” option in the settings, which highlights the location you are targeting with a red outline, and I immediately understood what was happening.

If your mouse is aimed at one of the eight squares surrounding your character, then everything will be fine. But if you are further from the selected area, no matter what direction it is located, the square that your character is looking at will be selected.

The game doesn't behave as you'd expect, especially if you're used to playing twin-stick shooters or Terraria that follow your mouse more closely. I originally figured that if my mouse was in the top left corner of the screen, I would target the top left square adjacent to my character. Activating the “Always Show Tool Hit Location” was the only way to understand how wrong I was and start a long journey of learning how to more accurately control the farmer.

You probably won't need this feature again once you get comfortable with the controls, but it's vital early in the game. And who knows, maybe the developer ConcernedApe will make this function work by default, as he did with autorun before.

Of course, it's easier to walk past the TV, but it's still worth skimming through the channels after waking up, especially since the game pauses at this time. The weather forecast will tell you what to expect the next day. This information won't be immediately useful to you, but it may change your plans for the day if you find out it's going to rain.

The fortune teller may also seem unimportant, but it helps shape your plans for the day. The fortune teller tells you how "lucky" the day will be, which directly affects certain randomly generated events in the game. For example, such important ones as the quality of goods and ore in mines. Harvesting or performing similar activities on good days increases the likelihood that these items will be of higher quality, which means they can sell for more.

Finally, the periodic shows Queen of Sauce and Gifts of the Earth can be incredibly important. "Queen of Sauce", published once a week, will teach you a new recipe, which becomes very relevant once you have a kitchen. Earth's Gifts, on the other hand, provides information that is relevant now, telling you about things that you can only learn from the game's official wiki page. For example, which fish can only be caught at this time of year, as well as the place and time of day where they can be found.

If you have sharp eyes, you may have already noticed the occasional wiggling stripes in the soil, but if you haven't yet, rub your eyes because worms aren't just decoration. If you hit them with your hoe, you will get an item. This is the only way to find books lost from the library, which, when read, will reveal clues and secrets to you. Besides books, you can unearth artifacts from the museum, and sometimes (if you're unlucky) simple dirt.

Don't be surprised if you don't see them as often or in as many numbers as in the image above - this screenshot is the exception rather than the rule. But keep an eye on the movements in the mud, and you'll see worms more often than you thought. They are more common when it rains and when you have good days, so follow the advice above and always watch TV in the morning!

This tip was not included in the first version of this list, but was hotly discussed in the comments. Thank you all for that!

I learned this the hard way, so you don't have to figure it out on your own. Staying up past 1am isn't a problem as long as you don't run out of energy, but it's important to remember that you'll wake up with less energy the next day. However, if the clock strikes two after midnight, your Cinderella dress will disappear as you fall into the mud and pass out, which is much worse than just going to bed.

You will have less energy the next day and will have to pay a percentage of your total gold to whoever brought you home that night. Also, maybe I'm crazy and completely wrong because I haven't found anyone who mentioned this, but I'm pretty sure I once lost an entire day after passing out in the woods. It's not worth it anyway. Of course, it's good to make the most of your time, but make sure you can get home and go to bed.

At the very beginning of the game, on the right side of the beach, you can find a broken board thrown across the river, which requires 300 wood to repair. I agree, 300 wood is quite a lot, especially early in the game when collecting it will require you to cut down trees for a day or two, but it's worth it in the long run. Rebuilding the bridge will give you access to the tidal pool, a small section of beach. This way, you will have access to sea urchins and corals without much difficulty.

Sea urchins and corals, along with a few other things that occasionally spawn there, can be collected from this area almost daily and sold for a surprising amount, helping to increase your gold reserves early in the game. During the first seasons, you earn money slowly, and tide pools offer a reliable (and free) source of income. You won't be short of wood next season, and you'll be grateful for the extra money.

At the start of the game, your farm is in pretty bad shape, but resist the urge to clean it up right away - at least refrain from mowing the grass. When you cut grass with a scythe, it will automatically be collected into hay, which is useful if you intend to raise any animals. But the point is that you will only have hay if you have a silo in which you can store it.

A silo tower is very easy to build. It costs 100 gold, 100 stones, 10 clay and five copper ingots - all of this is not difficult to find even at the beginning of the game. Build this tower before you cut the grass and you'll have plenty of supplies for the coming winter.

It's easy to underestimate food when you're first playing Stardew Valley, primarily because you don't have a kitchen and raw food doesn't make the best impression. But the ability to restore energy and health is very important, especially when you're trying to get the most out of your trip to the mines.

Collecting some Club Nodes can allow you to advance, providing small amounts of high-quality food such as chocolate cake, but even crafting Field Snacks (unlocked by getting level one in Gathering) can help break the rocks and advance to the next level.

A crab trap is an item that you place on the surface of the water (preferably in the ocean), equip it with bait, and return the next day to collect your catch. Of course, they are not available at the beginning of the game, since you need to level up your fishing to level three or buy them. In this case, the creation will require 3 iron ingots, and the purchase will require 1500 gold.

It's not cheap, but it pays for itself quickly. They never break or run out as long as you put bait in them (which isn't hard if you have a lot of bug flesh from the mines), thus representing an almost daily source of endless income.

Moreover, simply using a crab trap will allow you to collect a crab bundle in the Club, which (minor spoiler alert) will provide you with three more crab traps. Crab pots can take a while to get, but if you're not a fan of fishing, you can speed up the process by taking on the Hunter profession at level 5 of fishing.

This will change the crab trap's recipe from 40 wood and three iron ingots to 25 wood and two copper ingots, thereby significantly reducing its cost. To sum it up, crab pots look expensive and slow, but if cared for properly, they are a virtually endless source of income. And that's great, right?

It's a natural desire to improve your instruments as quickly as possible, and watering cans should be at the top of that list of improvements. You'll quickly realize that the larger your farm gets, the more time and energy you spend just watering it every morning, and sprinklers take a long time to work. Upgrading your watering cans will save you precious energy by allowing you to left-click to water several squares at a time.

However, like all tools, upgrading takes two days, which means you'll have to go one day without being able to water your plants. Luckily, heaven can do this for you. Watch the weather forecast every day (now do you understand the importance of watching TV?) and wait for rain forecast for tomorrow.

Then you can water your plants in the morning and turn on the watering can upgrade, allowing rain to water your crops the next day, and then pick up the upgraded watering can at 9am a day later. This way, your crop will not miss a single watering.

It's quite easy to skip one spring without delving into Club improvements. If this was the case, you might not be able to fix the greenhouse the first year. While there are other winter activities, such as worm fishing for missing library books or diving into mines, having a greenhouse will allow you to earn money during the lean season.

To fill all the pantry nodes, you will need one item from each season's multiple crops, as well as five of each gold-quality seasonal crop. You'll also need some animals and household supplies, so keep an eye on the chicken coop and barn.

As an additional tip, invest in blueberry, cranberry, and tomato seeds that produce fruit consistently and don't need to be replanted. And by installing several sprinklers, you can explore the mines every day of winter without wasting energy on watering and planting crops.

By interacting with farmers at least once a day, you will slowly increase their affection for you, especially if you give them gifts that they like. The fastest way to their hearts is to give gifts on their birthdays. Check out the calendar hanging outside Pierre's shop (or buy your own) so you don't miss a single day.

As of update 1.1, all NPCs rate the quality of the gifts you give them as those they "like" and those they "love." Each quality level adds a multiplier to the friendship points you receive, and also adds an 8x bonus if the gift was given on a birthday. This is all for a reason, so try to give gold or iridium quality items if you can!

Later in the game you will have a huge list of responsibilities every day. Even if you automate your farm with sprinklers, you'll get bogged down in mining, gift giving, or other tasks. There are several ways to move faster without spending the whole day walking.

The minecart system, which is initially broken, can be repaired by filling all the nodes in the Boiler Room with various loot and ore from the mines. This system will take you to several places throughout the city at once. The horse is also much faster than traveling on foot, although collecting 100 wood may take time for those not living on a timber farm.

Additionally, coffee can increase your speed and your horse's speed by 1.5 minutes. You can buy coffee for 300 gold in the Saloon, but it's better to grow it yourself. You can randomly find coffee beans from the Traveling Trader. Turn coffee beans into a drink by putting them in a keg, then sell what you don't drink for profit.
